This blog is a bit of a hybrid. I have opted to import posts from a prior blog called Searching for Thin Places. These older posts were from a time before Jenn and I moved to Nashville. This was a time when I worked at a difficult job and was ministering with a number of young families in Birmingham, AL. These posts reflect a time of transition and immense growth in my life. These days represent significant stretches of my journey of faith. If you dive into the archives, you will find a series of thoughts on the Old Testament and some thoughts of a very young minister.
